Conceptualised in collaboration with the client, seeking a refreshing yet highly functional fit-out for their new barbershop in the heart of Collingwood. Our approach was to treat the new work like sleeve inserted into existing volume, referencing and reflecting skatepark construction. Hovering over the skirting and services. Reducing the demolition costs, and left it a little rough around the edges.
